Wide Eye Media is proud to sponsor the film section of the Young Lions competition for the fourth year in a row.

The chosen charity for the film category will be revealed at the film briefing on Friday 22nd February. The format for the competition has changed this year, to better replicate the conditions of the Cannes Lions competition in June, as the teams will have only 48 hours to respond to the brief over the course of the competition weekend.

The event is happening on Friday 22nd February in The Convention Centre Dublin, North Wall Quay at 08.30am -10.00am. The event is free of charge to attend and highly beneficial to anyone wanting to enter.

The winning submission will be produced by Pull The Trigger and made into cinema ad, as well feature on Wide Eye Outdoor’s digital screens across the Ireland. Wide Eye Media will air the winning ad and cover the cost of transfers, in addition to sending the winning pair of creatives to the Cannes Lions Festival to compete in the Cannes Young Lions competition.

Sarah Clohessy, Marketing and Research Manager, introduces the film section of the Cannes Young Lions competition to young creatives at the launch in the Lighthouse Cinema.
