| This is the first two minutes of an eight minute short documentary about EVR (East Village Radio), a tiny radio station in a store front on a busy street. From the street-level, the D.J.s, who have two-hour slots, are doing commuity-based shows while sharing their personalized formats with the listeners. The station's non-commercial, community-based format is challenging us to think about why there isn't a station like this in every neighborhood. The fuller version of this short documentary addresses some of the F.C.C. issues that are involved in answering that question.
